Established in August 2005 through a generous gift, the John A. and Jane E. Mason Lubs Family Endowment Fund reflects the Lubs family's enduring commitment to philanthropy and community impact. Through this donor advised fund, the family provides annual recommendations to the Community Foundation regarding distributions from the fund's earnings, ensuring continued support for meaningful local initiatives.

More than a charitable investment, the fund represents the family's deeply rooted belief in the importance of giving back and instilling that value in future generations. By creating this legacy of generosity, the Lubs family hopes to inspire a lasting spirit of service and stewardship within the community.

On behalf of their parents, John and Jane, and siblings Julie, John David, Lori and Rebecca shared the following statement:

"The Lubs Family believes that businesses can only be as healthy as the community in which they exist. While financial resources are needed to keep our community thriving, volunteer resources are also needed. There are a number of people, from our business and civic leaders to the many local volunteers in our community, that have worked tirelessly, devoting much time and effort to keep our community strong and prosperous. We feel we need to support these efforts and are very happy to do so. From my parents' perspective, they view this fund as an opportunity to teach future generations of our family the importance of giving to the community that has been largely responsible for the success of our family.; Just as my parents have taught me and my siblings the importance of giving, it is our responsibility to teach future generations of our family the same. We love Chippewa Falls. We are very proud to support this great community we call home."
