By establishing this fund with the Community Foundation, the Harrison family has built a lasting legacy, one designed to respond to evolving community needs for generations to come. As Founders' Society members, Les and Marilyn have played a vital role in the Community Foundation's growth and success since its founding in 2001.

The Harrisons' commitment to perpetuating quality of life in Chippewa Falls is demonstrated through gifts that ensure ongoing support for the Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District Foundation, Chippewa Falls Main Street and the Chippewa Falls Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department.

"We feel education is essential to the well-being of everyone in our community," said Marilyn. "And a strong Main Street supports community progress and welfare."

The Harrisons spend a lot of time enjoying Irvine Park and have found that being out in nature is energizing. "Our parks are wonderful for health and happiness."

They are delighted as they have taken part in the creation of the Christmas Village-celebrating 39 years in 2026-Les and Marilyn especially hold its beauty and tradition close to their hearts. "It's still such a joy!" said Marilyn.
