The Bejin Family Endowment Fund was established by Charles W. and Magdalen Bejin in honor of past, present and future generations of the Bejin family, and to provide perpetual financial support to Holy Ghost Parish in Chippewa Falls.
Holy Ghost Church and the local community have been mainstays for the Bejin family since the early 1900s when Charles J. and Hattie Bejin started a family in Chippewa Falls. As the owner operator of the Standard Oil Bulk Plant in Chippewa Falls, Charles J. took good care of his customers delivering fuel oil to homeowners and gasoline to area farmers.
Their son Charles W., born in 1918, grew up on the south side of Chippewa Falls along with his younger brother Bruce. In the tradition of his parents, Charles W. and his wife Magdalen became lifelong members of Holy Ghost Parish as well. In the 1950s Charles W. started his own business, C.W. Bejin Petroleum Service, which he operated until his retirement in 1980.
According to his son, Bill Bejin, Charles W. had an interest in helping less fortunate people largely because of his experiences growing up during the Great Depression.
When my father was financially able to contribute to causes that helped individuals and families, he would do that," said Bill."My mother, Magdalen, was similarly generous as a dedicated member of Holy Ghost. She and my aunt, Geraldine, along with many other women of the Parish, made a significant commitment by preparing and serving funeral luncheons for decades."

Bejin Family Endowment Fund, is a Designated Fund that was established to provide funding to Holy Ghost Parish of Chippewa Falls.
