The Chippewa County Humane Association Endowment Fund was established to support the long-term mission-driven goals and operations of Chippewa County Humane Association.

Their mission is clear: to provide a safe haven, compassionate care, and second chances for animals in need.

At the Chippewa County Humane Association, every animal is given the opportunity to find the right home. The shelter cares for a wide variety of pets - including dogs, cats, pocket pets, reptiles, birds, and even the occasional chicken. Each animal that comes through their doors receives the care, compassion, and attention they need while waiting for their forever family. Their adoption process is designed to create the best possible match between pets and adopters, setting both up for long-term success.

The Humane Association welcomes stray cats and dogs from contracted municipalities, as well as beloved pets surrendered by their families. On any given day, the shelter may care for dogs, cats, reptiles, and other small animals, all waiting for a second chance.

One of the things that makes the shelter especially unique is its commitment to adoptable animals. As long as an animal remains healthy and behaviorally sound, there is no time limit placed on their stay. They are given the time, care, and patience they deserve while waiting for the right home.
