"Allen grew up hunting and trapping in the area of the Chippewa Moraine Ice Age Unit. It was his idea to support the unit, he was more than enthusiastic that there was a local and physical site where he could explore his passion for nature"

It was on behalf of his request that his family provided a lasting legacy in Allen Seilheimer's memory by starting the Chippewa Moraine Ice Age Reserve Endowment Fund.  Grants will support the mission and activities of the Chippewa Moraine Ice Age Reserve.
