Ken Custer credits the Chippewa Falls community for helping him and his wife, Debi, raise two sons he's "extremely proud" of, run a successful farming operation and offer a network of support the family could always count on.
"That feeling just never left me, so I wanted to give back," said Ken, who along with Debi, owns Custer Farms of Chippewa Falls. Spring of 2013, the Custers, along with his sons and daughters-in-law, Darryl and Karrie, and Douglas and Sunny, started the Custer Family Endowment Fund.
"We have very good relationships with a lot of the community," said Ken, 2013-14 Chair of the Foundation's board of directors. "I've found business leaders in the community to be my friends. We have a lot in common, and I want to share with them and what they have done in giving back to this community."
For grant-making at the discretion of the Foundations Board of Directors.
