Wanting to further support those pursuing post-secondary education, the Daniels established the Dan and Jacque Daniel Scholarship Fund, which provides grants to the Chippewa Valley Technical College's Student Emergency Fund.
Dan and Jacque Daniel spent their careers as educators in the Chippewa Valley. Jacque was an art teacher for kindergarten through fifth-grade students, and for a time, worked as a substitute teacher while raising her children. Dan was a shop instructor at both Chippewa Falls Senior High School and Eau Claire Memorial High School. Together they also owned Chippewa County Abstract and Title, Inc.
After retiring, the couple continued their commitment to education by supporting local students through various scholarship programs in area schools.
"Chippewa Falls is a great place to live and raise your family," said Jacque, noting that she and Dan have two children and four grandchildren. "We've made charitable donations over the years because we care very much about education and the opportunities it creates for students."
"Not everyone can afford higher education, and not everyone is geared for college. There are students who may be more successful at a technical school and we felt that we should make that option easier for them to pay for."
The Daniels hope their fund not only assists students but also raises awareness of the ongoing need for making educational opportunities available to those who want to go to school.

The Dan and Jacque Daniel Scholarship Fund, is a Designated Fund that was established to support the CVTC Foundation Inc., in Eau Claire, WI for their Student Emergency Fund.
