The F. & E. Siverling Memorial Tutor Program Pass-through Fund was established in loving memory of Frank and Elizabeth Siverling, whose commitment to education and community continues to make a lasting difference. This fund was created to support the Bloomer School District by providing access to a licensed teacher who offers tutoring services to students throughout the school year, outside of regular classroom instruction.
The tutoring focuses on essential academic areas such as reading, writing, and mathematics, helping students strengthen foundational skills and build confidence in their learning. By creating a pass-through fund at the Community Foundation, the Siverling family ensured their memorial gift would have an immediate and meaningful impact. This type of fund allows donors to support a specific charitable purpose within a defined timeframe, making it an effective way to respond to current needs.
The Siverling fund offers an annual source of support that directly benefits students in the Bloomer School District, helping them achieve academic success. Unlike endowed funds, pass-through funds are non-permanent and are intentionally designed to be fully utilized for a designated purpose.
Donors, like the Siverlings, benefit from a trusted and streamlined giving platform that maximizes the impact of their generosity. Contributions may include cash, stocks, memorial or testimonial gifts, or other assets, making it easy to give in a way that aligns with individual charitable and financial goals. Through this memorial fund, the legacy of Frank and Elizabeth Siverling will continue to support education and positively shape students' lives for years to come.
