The George and Peggy Fleming Family Fund was established to support the local organizations that have long been meaningful to George and Peggy Fleming. Through their designated fund, the Flemings are creating lasting support for causes they care deeply about and ensuring these organizations can continue serving the Chippewa County community for years to come.

Originally from Illinois, George and Peggy have called the Chippewa Valley their home since the 1970s. Over the decades, they built careers, raised their family, and formed lasting friendships in the community they now proudly consider home. Their fund reflects a desire to give back and honor the kindness and generosity they have experienced throughout their lives.

George, is a retired orthopedic surgeon, and Peggy, is a former nurse, who both dedicated their careers to caring for others. "We feel like we've been very blessed living in Chippewa Falls," Peggy said. "We want to return some of the things that we've been given to other people in the community - and help in any way we can."

George added, "It's our way of giving back to organizations we feel are really worthwhile and make a difference in Chippewa County."
