Started by the three Gienapp siblings, "the 'Gienapp Family Endowment Fund' was created to give back to the community that did so much to prepare us to embrace the world," said Theresa Gienapp, and echoed by brother, Todd. 

Brian Gienapp and his wife, Lisa, wanted to create this fund "as a tangible way of making giving a part of our children's lives. Our children have been a part of the process from the beginning and will continue to play a part in how its resources will be allocated each year. Since Chippewa is really 'home' for us, we hope that Katie and Joshua will be able to see how some of their decisions to give have been a blessing to others right in their midst."
