Paul Walter Schaus, MD, Health Care Endowment was established using funds transferred from Dr. Schaus' original endowment with the now-closed St. Joseph's Hospital Foundation. Going forward, grants from this endowment will support the work of the Children's Resource Center - West, administered through Chippewa County Public Health.

Grants will be directed toward addressing the health care needs of children and families throughout the greater Chippewa County area.
