In times of crisis, communities are strongest when they come together. Through collaboration and a shared commitment to local well-being, the Community Foundation of Chippewa County established the Response-Recovery-Rebuild (RRR) Fund to provide critical support when urgent needs arise. This fund is intentionally designed to be activated during times of crisis when help is needed most, and delays are not an option.
The importance of the RRR Fund became clear during the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2021 Stanley tornado. In both instances, the Community Foundation worked alongside community partners to identify immediate needs and deliver timely solutions. Across Chippewa County, local nonprofits faced sudden and overwhelming challenges. Essential services such as food access, emergency communication, medical care, shelter, and basic household resources were strained or disrupted just as community members needed them most.
Thanks to generous donors, the RRR Fund provided swift relief to local nonprofits, empowering them to respond effectively to urgent and emerging needs throughout the county. These grants made a real difference for individuals and families during moments of uncertainty and hardship.
Continued support of the RRR Fund ensures that Chippewa County is prepared for future crises. Contributions are carefully stewarded and invested so that resources are available when an emergency occurs. When you give to the Response-Recovery-Rebuild Fund, your generosity becomes a vital lifeline ready to be deployed when the community faces its next challenge.
The Community Foundation is here for the long term, ready to support our communities when they need it most. Donors help build resilience, strengthen local nonprofits, and create a lasting legacy of compassion and preparedness for Chippewa County when supporting the Response Recovery Rebuild Fund.
This Unrestricted Fund enables the Community Foundation to respond to the community's most pressing needs today and tomorrow
Continued donations to this fund ensure that it will be a source of support in times of local crisis.
No administrative fees are assessed to the fund, and 100% of donations are used for Response-Recovery-Rebuild grant funding.
