The School District of Gilman Engles Fund is an Agency Fund that was set up by the School District of Gilman for long-term support of the district. The Gilman School District is proud of the continued success and growth of the George Engel Estate Funds, as a result of investing the funds with the Community Foundation of Chippewa County. 

Established in 1996, through a generous donation of $232,267.40 from the estate of George Engel, these funds serve as a lasting financial resource for the Gilman School District and students. We chose the Community Foundation of Chippewa County due to the prudent management of funds and investments in local communities. The earnings on the initial investment have allowed us to sustain lasting support for the betterment of student programs, enhanced visibility in our community, and award college scholarships annually to every Gilman graduate pursuing a post-secondary education or training.

We are incredibly grateful for this enduring gift. By investing through the Community Foundation of Chippewa County, we have ensured that Mr. Engel's generosity will continue to open doors for our students and improve our school programs for generations to come.
